Aircraft Restoration Company (ARCo) is a world-renowned vintage aircraft restoration, maintenance and engineering specialist based at Duxford Airfield, Cambridge.
Established in 1989, ARCo undertakes everything from complete ground-up aircraft restorations and major overhauls to routine maintenance, repairs and day-to-day operation of historic aircraft. Its specialist teams combine traditional craftsmanship with modern aviation engineering to preserve, restore and operate some of the world’s most significant airworthy aircraft.
ARCo is particularly renowned for its Supermarine Spitfire restoration expertise, having restored approximately a third of the world’s flying Spitfires. Its extensive portfolio also includes Hurricanes, Mustangs, Blenheims, Lysanders, Harvards, Chipmunks, Dakotas, the Lancaster and numerous other rare vintage and warbird types. The company also provides maintenance support to the Royal Air Force’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Alongside restoration and maintenance, ARCo provides pre-purchase inspections and valuations, aircraft operations, warbird sales and acquisition support, and aircraft and specialist flying services for film, television and events.
