The 2026 Alderney Fly-in, organised by the Alderney Flying Club, is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th, 2026. Designed for visiting general aviation pilots, the official program includes a Welcome Reception sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, flight planning support, shuttle services, and a Gala Dinner featuring a three-course meal, live music, and a model airplane flying competition. Because Prior Permission Required (PPR) rules apply at Alderney Airport for the duration of the event, pilots planning to attend must complete an online registration form in advance.
In addition to the central aviation program, attendees can participate in a variety of island activities and local excursions throughout the weekend. Scheduled highlights range from guided tours of historical sites—such as Alderney's Roman Fort and the WWII German Odeon tower—to wildlife boat trips, clay pigeon shooting at Fort Albert, padel tennis, and church bell ringing demonstrations. The 2026 lineup also features new additions, including behind-the-scenes visits to the Air Traffic Control Tower and guided tours of Kiln Farm Dairy.
