The 2026 LAA Rally returns to Leicester Airfield from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September, celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Light Aircraft Association. One of the UK’s premier General Aviation events, the Rally will feature a special static display showcasing aircraft that represent the LAA fleet throughout its history.
Visitors can expect a packed weekend centred around the traditional fly-in atmosphere, with hundreds of visiting aircraft, a wide range of aviation exhibitors, industry-leading manufacturers and distributors, and a programme of talks from aviation experts in the popular Speakers Corner. The Homebuilders Marquee will once again offer hands-on demonstrations and showcase the craftsmanship behind amateur-built aircraft.
The exhibition area will feature both indoor and outdoor displays, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the latest aircraft, products, services and innovations from across the General Aviation industry. LAA members will enjoy free access to the aircraft park, while non-members can purchase entry to get up close to the diverse range of aircraft attending the Rally.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will also find a variety of food vendors, a fully licensed bar, refreshments, free on-site parking and camping facilities, with evening entertainment provided at Leicester Airfield. Whether you’re a pilot, aircraft owner, homebuilder or simply passionate about aviation, the LAA Rally remains one of the highlights of the UK General Aviation calendar.
