About Bristol Flying

Bristol Flying is a member-owned, not-for-profit flying club based at Bristol Airport, offering affordable flight training, trial lessons, aircraft hire and pilot development using modern Garmin-equipped aircraft. The club provides Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training, flight experiences and flexible pay-as-you-train options, making aviation more accessible while giving students valuable experience flying from a busy international airport.

As a community-focused organisation, Bristol Flying reinvests all surplus income into improving its aircraft, facilities and member experience, creating a welcoming environment for both aspiring and qualified pilots. Alongside professional instruction, members benefit from social fly-outs, aviation talks, pilot resources and ongoing support, combining high-quality training with an active and friendly flying community.
