Bustard Flying Club is a long-established, member-run flying club based at MOD Boscombe Down, providing affordable flight training and recreational flying for Ministry of Defence personnel, QinetiQ employees and other eligible members. The club offers Private Pilot Licence (PPL), National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL), IR(R) and aerobatic training, alongside aircraft hire, all delivered by experienced volunteer instructors in a friendly and supportive environment.
With a strong focus on making flying accessible at the lowest practical cost, Bustard Flying Club combines high-quality instruction with an active aviation community where members can continue developing their skills long after gaining their licence.
