The Cambridge Aero Club was established in 1929, it is one of the oldest flight schools in the United Kingdom, providing structured instruction for aspiring private pilots as well as rental options for licensed aviators. Operating as a CAA-approved training organisation, the club maintains high safety standards while offering access to a well-maintained fleet of general aviation aircraft, dedicated ground school instruction, and flight medical services. In addition to core Private Pilot Licence (PPL) programs, Cambridge Aero Club provides a wide variety of advanced aviation courses and public experiences. These include specialised ratings such as night flying, aerobatics, and instrument ratings, alongside trial lessons and gift flight experiences for newcomers. By combining professional instruction with a supportive club environment, it serves both recreational flyers looking to experience the joy of flight and students taking their first steps toward a commercial career in aviation.
