Castle Air Academy is a premier UK flight school specialising in professional rotary-wing aviation training. The academy offers structured pathways for aspiring commercial aviators, including both integrated and modular Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) [CPL(H)] programs. Designed to take students from zero experience to industry-ready pilots, these comprehensive courses cover core flying skills, advanced maneuver techniques, and theoretical ground school instruction required for professional qualification. Beyond initial commercial licensing, Castle Air Academy provides an extensive suite of advanced and specialised helicopter courses. These include Instrument Ratings (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), type ratings, and instructor certifications such as Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI). Supported by an on-site aircraft fleet, dedicated engineering support, and an advanced AW109E flight simulator, the academy prepares trainees for diverse sector roles, ranging from executive transport to search and rescue cadetships.
