Derby Aero Club provides flight training, aircraft hire and aviation services in a friendly, family-run environment. Students can train for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and a range of additional ratings, with experienced instructors supporting pilots from their first lesson through to advanced qualifications. The club also offers trial flying lessons, ground school, aircraft maintenance and pilot supplies, making it a comprehensive centre for general aviation.
Alongside its flight training programmes, Derby Aero Club operates from its own licensed grass airfield, offering an active flying community with aircraft rental, maintenance facilities and social events for members.
