Flight Performance Training (FPT UK) hold dual UK CAA and EASA certifications situated at Brighton City Airport (Shoreham) in West Sussex. The facility has carved a distinct niche in the general and commercial aviation training sectors by focusing heavily on advanced flight safety disciplines. Most notably, FPT UK specialises in compliant Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT under FCL.745), a mandatory component for pilots progressing toward commercial multi-crew pilot licenses (MPL) and airline transport pilot licenses (ATPL).
Alongside flagship UPRT instruction, FPT UK offers a comprehensive suite of advanced and specialised pilot qualifications, including Aerobatic Ratings (FCL.800), UPRT Train-the-Trainer courses (FCL.915e), Flight Instructor Certificate instruction [FIC(A)], and Night Instructor ratings. Training is conducted on aerobatically certified platforms capable of handling high-G maneuvering and spin recovery, such as the Slingsby T-67 Firefly. In addition to career-focused modular training and Single Engine Piston (SEP) revalidations, FPT UK delivers introductory flight experiences, aerobatic trial flights, formation flying packages, and corporate aviation days.
