About Halton Aero Club

Halton Aero Club offer affordable flight training from trial lessons through to Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Instrument Rating (Restricted) courses, together with aircraft hire and advanced pilot development. Open to both military personnel and civilians, the club combines professional instruction with a strong emphasis on airmanship, safety and community, providing high-quality training in a supportive environment while maintaining the traditions and ethos of one of the UK's oldest military flying clubs.

Beyond its structured training programmes, Halton Aero Club offers members an active flying community with social events, fly-outs, overseas expeditions and ongoing opportunities to develop their skills after gaining a licence. The club also supports eligible serving personnel through the ELCAS funding scheme and encourages members to take an active role in club life, creating a welcoming environment where pilots can continue learning, flying and sharing their passion for aviation.
