Hull Aero Club was established in 1930 and currently based at Beverley Airfield in East Yorkshire. Situated in clear, uncontrolled airspace well-suited for learning, the club provides a relaxed and friendly environment for qualified pilots, social aviation enthusiasts, and student flyers alike, operating in full compliance with Civil Aviation Authority requirements for flight training.
The club offers a comprehensive range of services, including trial flights and instructional packages for both light aircraft (such as Cessna 150s and 172s) and microlights conducted by experienced instructors. In addition to dedicated ground school and practical training facilities for those pursuing private pilot licences, it features an active model aircraft section and a welcoming clubhouse that serves as a central social hub for visitors and members.
