Lyneham Aviation provides affordable, high-quality flight training for military personnel, veterans and civilians alike. The club offers trial lessons, Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL) training, aerobatics, formation flying, night ratings and other advanced courses, all delivered by experienced instructors in a friendly, supportive environment.
Originally established at RAF Lyneham in 2003, the club has grown into a thriving aviation community with over 100 members while maintaining its not-for-profit ethos. Run largely by volunteers, Lyneham Aviation focuses on making flying accessible through cost-effective training, personalised instruction and ongoing pilot development, while also supporting service personnel through ELCAS-accredited training and a wide range of post-licence flying opportunities.
