Moray Flying Club is a non-profit military flying organisation. Serving and reserve members of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence personnel, and associated military groups, the club offers an accessible platform for both beginner flight instruction and advanced qualifications in northern Scotland. The club delivers a structured curriculum that includes training for the UK Part-FCL Private Pilot Licence (PPL), National Private Pilot's Licence (NPPL), glider-to-NPPL conversions, and Qualified Military Pilot (QMP) licence conversions, alongside advanced Night and IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) ratings. Moray Flying Club stands out for its modern, eco-friendly fleet composed of Pipistrel light-sport aircraft, including the Virus 121SW and the pioneering, all-electric Pipistrel Velis Electro—allowing members to undertake initial flight training and local recreational sorties on a innovative, low-emission platform.
