MP Flying Club offer personalised flight training for aspiring and qualified pilots in a friendly club environment. The club provides training towards the Private Pilot Licence (PPL), as well as Night Ratings, Instrument Rating (Restricted), tailwheel conversions, and trial flying lessons. With a fleet that includes a modern Grumman AA5B alongside vintage tailwheel aircraft such as a Piper L-4 Cub and de Havilland Chipmunk, students benefit from a varied training experience delivered by qualified instructors, including a Chief Flying Instructor and CAA Examiner.
In addition to initial pilot training, MP Flying Club supports qualified pilots looking to expand their skills through advanced ratings, specialist tailwheel instruction, aircraft hire, and the AOPA Flying Companion Course for non-pilot passengers. Based at Biggin Hill Airport—the closest licensed aerodrome to central London—the club combines access to a busy, professional aviation environment with a welcoming membership culture, helping pilots develop confidence, proficiency, and experience throughout their flying careers.
