Seething Airfield is a historic, member-owned airfield in Norfolk that combines affordable flying, CAA-approved flight training, and a welcoming volunteer-led aviation community. Operated on a non-commercial basis by the Waveney Flying Group, the airfield offers modern facilities including an 800-metre asphalt runway, AVGAS fuel, aircraft hangarage, a clubhouse, and a supportive environment for both student and experienced pilots.
Flight training is available to club members through experienced volunteer instructors, with courses including the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and additional ratings. Beyond flying, Seething Airfield is known for its strong community spirit, regular social events, fly-ins, and its rich Second World War heritage, which is preserved through the on-site 448th Bomb Group Memorial Museum and a range of historical activities.
