About The Tiger Club

The Tiger Club was founded in 1957, dedicated to preserving classic aviation through vintage aircraft flying, aerobatic and tailwheel training, formation flying, trial lessons and a vibrant community of pilots passionate about traditional stick-and-rudder skills. The club operates a unique fleet of historic aircraft, including de Havilland Tiger Moths and Stampe biplanes, giving members and visitors the opportunity to experience some of aviation's most iconic aircraft in a safe, welcoming and highly skilled environment.

More than just a flying school, the Tiger Club is renowned for its active social calendar, air displays, fly-ins and competitions that celebrate the heritage of recreational flying while encouraging pilots to develop advanced handling skills and lasting friendships. Through its emphasis on airmanship, mentorship and the enjoyment of classic aircraft, the club has become one of the UK's most respected organisations for vintage aviation enthusiasts and sport pilots alike.
