G-WATP & Cheshire Aviation
G-WATP is our 1969 Piper PA-28R-200 Cherokee Arrow, a four-seat, 200 hp, fuel-injected touring aircraft with retractable landing gear and a constant-speed propeller. It is based at Hawarden Airport (EGNR) and is IFR-equipped, including Garmin GNS 430W/430 navigation.
Cheshire Aviation operates G-WATP as a small, friendly non-equity flying group. Members get access to the aircraft without having to purchase an ownership share, with costs covered through a joining fee, monthly membership and an hourly wet flying rate.
The group is intentionally kept small, with an emphasis on good availability, sensible aircraft care and a well-managed, relaxed group environment.
